The Plymouth Historical Society Inc. established in 1986, is a non profit 501 c 3 organization, funded through donations. Our mission statement is the preservation, protection and projection, of our local history. The society does extensive genealogical and local research. We have established a reference library and museum, on the premises,  containing numerous historical artifacts and displays, which reflect our local history. When it is safe to open, our regular hours thru November will be 12 pm to 4 pm Thursday and Saturday. Other times and days by appointment.

We are also active in our community, participating in local events and the preservation of historical sites such as the Davenport Cemetery and the Avondale Mine Site.
